Hall of Fame
Loren Prentice of Saskatoon, a long-time coach and former proprietor of Saskatoon's River Racquet Athletic Club, is being inducted into the Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame. A talented player in his own right, Prentice's coaching helped produce former world junior champions Kris Odegard, the reigning Canadian men's singles champion, Karina Odegard, Amanda MacDonald, Terrence Li, James Landeryou and Brandi Jacobson Prentice. Prentice will be honoured as one of racquetball's builders during the 2008 Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame Induction Dinner on Saturday, June 14, at Regina's Conexus Arts Centre.
