Welcome to Racquetball Saskatchewan
If you are a member of the Saskatchewan Racquetball Assocation, we would like to notify you about an upcoming Meeting of Members. The attached notice will give you an explanation of why the meeting had been called but in a nutshell the meeting is needed in order to make changes to two motions that were made at the recent Annual Meeting related to membership.
Sask Sport has done membership audits on all of the Provincial Sport Governing Bodies and through this process it identified that SRA had some work to do its policies and how it collected membership information. We have been working with them for the past few months and thought what was presented at the Annual Meeting would meet their requirements however it didn't.
The new policy does meet their requirements and should be easier to administer. However, because the changes were voted on at an Annual Meeting, the Board does not have the authority to make any changes, so a Meeting of Members has been called.
